Nov 8 del 2024: Todas las promociones disponibles son exclusivamente para nuevos clientes o solo si uno compra el dispositivo móvil a Claro. He sido un cliente fiel por más de 12 años, sin embargo, estoy pagando un precio significativamente más alto por un servicio de muy baja calidad.
Cuando pregunté sobre cambiar a un mejor plan, me informaron que necesitaba ser un nuevo cliente con un proveedor de una compañía diferente para poder aprovechar estas ofertas. Tuve linea con claro hace mucho tiempo (7213-****), ya fue porteada a otro proveedor y me seguia llegando cobros a los cuales no preste atencion pues a la hora de portear el numero fui a una tienda claro en Liberia Guanacaste la cual me dijeron que todo estaba en order y al dia y no habia ningun cobro ya, pues resulta que me mancharon mi credito y ahora necesito lo limpien lo antes posible, ticket o caso numero: 2913****. Factura pagada documento numero: 001000****02941****, monto 14,710.00. Necesito la carta descargo a mi correo: anndy0830@***.com

Got the 30 day prepay plan data and phone, worked well for the 1st 30 days. Recharged at a claro office it only worked for 7 days, went to the office in san ramon.
For 3 days they gave me 3 different reasons. 1st, wasn't set up right 2nd all the dat was used.
3rd we cant set your phone up again as the system is down, can't give you money if you dont have a bank account in costa rica. 3 lies and money stolen

- - I could cancel contract by cellphone.
- - Abroad, I must visit store or have notarized power of attorney to cancel; I still pay for a service I can't use.
I got a contract with them, they said I could cancell it via cellphone. Now that Im in another country, they say I have to go to one of the stores in the country to cancell it or have someone with power of attorney and signed by a notary.
Practically I have to keep paying the service I can not longer use.

Constant harassment by Claros door to door solicitors in Costa Rica, had to say no,NO,NO! Several times, also I constantly have those *** flyers hanging in my door/entrance which of course I have to clean up
There is no feedback email on their homepage just direct calls/Whatsapp so they can still run data collections/contact schemes

my cell in costa rica 6178 **** , i went to plaza rohmosure and i paid my monthly fee around 13500 k , i threw my receipt away , 12 days later i still had internet , you tube , whatupp , but the phone will not let me make phone calls normal calls , so i went back to the same office i paid the bill and reported the problem i could not make phone calls , he looked in his system and he told i owe 2 monthes !!! i was in the same shop 12 days ago and paid the bill and no mention of oweing 2 monthes , and of course he asks me for the fatora , which i never kept
i think the employees of claro are stealing customers funds knowing that no custmer keeps his records , and it comes down to this my word verses theirs , to me this theft of employees in costa rica is all over the place , all over , life is so freaking expensive , salaries are so low , and workers are in a bind to make ends meet , and they go after us , claro need to do investigation like that , they need to pretend to be customers and see how their employees treat others

- - Claro wifi was cut off after the local card expired.
- - No English support; site only accepts Central America cards; they are in Canada.
My Claro wifi in Costa Rica was cut off because the bank card we gave them from our Costa Rican bank account expired. It is impossible to contact them (Claro) and no one communicates in English.
We are not there to get another card and their website will accept money only from Central America issued credit cards. We are in Canada so completely hooped. Our Villa in Costa Rica has no wifi and there is nothing we can do about it.
I would pay them if they would let me! Very frustrating!

- - The process is slow and they do not speak English.
So far they took the payment they were owed with a Canadian credit card with the promise of a new contract coming so I can get services re-instated, however I have not received anything yet. Very slow, do not speak English. Not the service standards we are used to but this is Costa Rica we are dealing with from Canada.

Claro Costa Rica Nightmare
Claro Costa Rica provided a great service in the central valley. That lasted until I moved to a rural location where their service (Internet) was unusable.
So I went to their offices to cancel my services, keeping one number and closing the other. Following their advice I kept both numbers, but changed them to pre-paid. They promised a partial invoice and happily I left. Except, I couldn't charge the card.
After consulting their service I went to a store to charge it from there. Failed again. So I called and was told, that due to a technical issue my service is both Pre-paid and paid after service. And invoices kept coming.
I visited 4 times until I was able to get a new invoice that I paid in full. Finally my service was pre-paid. Then invoices kept coming and no emails, no calls, nothing resolved the issue. Now a collection agency calls me daily and emails threats to me, ignoring anything I say.
They call my wife at her business, harassing her. She is not even a Claro customer. I never gave my consent to share my information and it is illegal to harass my family for a debt. The 2 invoices that came in never appeared in the system.
They literally "never existed" and couldn't be paid. This is going on now for 9 months. And I am threatened by automatic call daily in my working hours. Do not be a Claro customer.
Their customer care is a nightmare. They will share your information with the bullying/collection agency Americaservices.net - no site, no info, not an existing company you can actually contact, email or call.
